Rio Pardo Proteína Vegetal was founded in September 2007 as an agribusiness R&D Company, developing innovative concepts on the industrialization of vegetable oils and SPC from the Jatropha Curcas oilseed.
Since then, the Company has committed substantial resources in the development of an unprecedented, breakthrough technology for reinventing the industrial processing of oilseeds.
This investment led to the development of a unique industrial facility, with an original process for the continuous production of top-quality semi-refined vegetable oil, high grade soy protein concentrate - SPC and cereal ethanol.
This industrial unit processes mainly soybeans, but it’s flexible to other inputs.
MISSION
To produce vegetable oils and SPC in an innovative and sustainable way through R&D investments for new methods and techniques which enhance both productivity and the full appropriation of inputs.

To become the industry’s benchmark in both R&D and development of new production methods that optimize invested resources, result in minimal environmental impacts, and enhance the quality and energy efficiency of its products.

Rio Pardo Proteína Vegetal’s industrial facility is located in Sidrolândia - Brazil, close to the BR-060 highway (km 425), 70 km away from Campo Grande (Mato Grosso do Sul’s state capital).
The city is strategically located for the Company’s operations, due to its top-notch productivity and availability of soybeans and other oilseeds - the main inputs for Rio Pardo Proteína Vegetal.
Sidrolândia also presents a logistics edge, given that it is located within the highway and railway axis that connects Mato Grosso do Sul’s seed production lands to Brazil’s south and southeast regions, where the Paranaguá and Santos Ports are located.
